Winter Poplars

winter poplar trees

Being out and about looking for wildlife is not all fun and games. On many occasions you go out and come back with nothing. The start of November has been particularly slow this year. If the wildlife isn't playing I am always on the look out for something else. This image is a case in point. A hard grey day when I happened upon these winter poplars. The thin straight trunks allowed me to use a slow shutter speed and upward movement to create this painting like image. Please let me know what you think.
