Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes)

red fox vulpes vulpes stood in green fields

This morning I went hunting. A patch of ginger seen coming across a green field. I hit the deck and the ginger got bigger. I fired shot after shot, my victim looked up and the faint sound, front leg lifted in that same way familiar to all dog owners when there pet is surprised or intrigued. With a slight alteration in course and no change of pace my victim trotted off into the woodland, un-fazed and unharmed from the encounter. No doubt off to try and provide food for a new family. I feel blessed for the few seconds I spent with my victim.

Hunting as it should be done.
