Rua Reidh Lighthouse

Rua Reidh Lighthouse - Landscape

Although this image looks serene, this was not my mood while taking the image. I had made sure the tide was on its way out but it still required a climb down over the slippery rock. At times I was faced with a thirty centimetre pathway with a four metre drop into the sea on one side and a similar drop onto hard rock on the other. This was done by torch light, however, I had practiced the route in daylight. Still very un-nerving with the waves crashing over the rocks not half a metre behind you. Needless to say I didn't hang around!
